We are talking about Punjabi cinema’s rockstar Diljit Dosanjh. Who recently appeared in an important role in the film ‘Crew’. During the promotion of this film, Diljit mentioned this incident in a conversation. Diljit said that I tried to run away from home when I was just eight years old.
During the conversation, Diljit said that ‘There was a girl in my school because of whom I tried to run away from home. All my seniors used to ask me which girl in school do you like, I also said that I like that girl.’
The singer told that, ‘As soon as I said this, she said that go and express your feelings to her and tell her that you like her and she will marry you.’
Diljit said that ‘After this I went to that girl with innocence and said that let’s get married but she immediately got angry and went to the teacher. The teacher called me and asked me to call my parents the next day. That day was like the end of the world for me.’
Diljit further told the story and said, ‘After this I went home and took some fruits from the fridge and ran away from the village on my bicycle. I had gone only five minutes away from home when a villager recognized me and started pressuring me to return home.’
The singer said, “Due to their pressure, I finally had to return home. But after that, I came home and pretended to have a stomachache and did not go to school for three days.”
Talking about the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will soon be seen in the film ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’. Which will be released on June 28.
