The Press Information Bureau has done a fact check on this matter and revealed the truth. On the social media platform X, PIB has written that a notice is going viral on social media in the name of LIC. In this notice, it is being claimed that LIC has decided to withdraw all its products and plans for revision on September 30, 2024.

It is said in the letter that LIC can re-launch all the policies with some changes. The company can take two to three months to release the new plan. Along with this, plans giving more benefits like Jeevan Anand, Jeevan Umang and Jeevan Utsav etc. can be withdrawn.
Is the letter fake?
This fact check has revealed that this claim being made about LIC is completely fake. Life Insurance Corporation of India has not issued any such letter, which talks about withdrawing all insurance products. All products and plans will continue as before. In such a situation, do not trust any such notice at all.
