None other than Dhoni’s very close and dear friend Suresh Raina revealed the secret that Pant will soon be seen wearing the yellow jersey of Chennai. Speaking on JioCinema, Raina said, “I met MS Dhoni in Delhi and Pant was also there. Someone will wear the yellow jersey soon.”
This statement of Raina made it clear that Chennai will make every effort to buy Pant in the mega auction of IPL 2025. However, even before the list of retained players was released, many reports had claimed that Pant would be released from Delhi Capitals and he could be seen in the jersey of Chennai Super Kings in the next season.
