IPL 2025 Mega Auction Rishabh Pant Price: IPL 2025 mega auction is now just a few days away, for which the excitement is increasing. Especially Rishabh Pant has become a topic of discussion and according to many media reports, he can be sold at the highest price in the auction. Let us tell you that Pant was not retained by Delhi Capitals, hence the chances of a bidding war on him are increasing. Now the statement of former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has created a ruckus even before the auction. Raina has said that a bid of Rs 25-30 crore can be made for Pant.
According to TOI, Suresh Raina said, “We should see it as an opportunity. If you look at Australian players, they are getting a lot of money from IPL, so why shouldn’t our players get it.” Recall that in the IPL 2024 mini auction, KKR had made Mitchell Starc the most expensive player in IPL history by bidding Rs 24.75 crore. Whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad had bid Rs 20.50 crore on Pat Cummins.
RCB set aside Rs 25 crore for Rishabh Pant
Suresh Raina said, “Rishabh Pant has been the captain of Delhi, a stormy batsman and also a top wicketkeeper. If you look at his brand value, he can be beneficial from the sponsorship point of view. I think he will get Rs 25-30 crore. Should get the money.” Suresh Raina also told that apart from Rishabh Pant, teams can also spend a lot of money on Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul.
As far as the purse left with the teams is concerned, Suresh Raina said that RCB can play a big bet on Pant. He said, “CSK has to prepare the entire team and now they have Rs 55 crore left. If they have to buy a player for Rs 25-30 crore, then they will have to make a squad of at least 18 players. Punjab has 110.50 crore players. “Delhi has the option of right to match. It would not be a surprise for me if RCB buys Pant, who has Rs 83 crore left.”
