-Talking about retention rules, the 6 players who will be allowed to be retained will have the option of both retention and Right to Match (RTM). Earlier, each franchise was able to retain 4 players, in which there was no provision for Right to Match.
When is the mega auction to take place?
BCCI has not yet announced any date regarding the mega auction, but there are chances that the auction can be held in December 2024 or February 2025.
