Will MS Dhoni make a comeback in IPL 2025?
Even though BCCI has implemented new rules to help Chennai Super Kings, the franchise has not yet given any concrete statement on Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s participation in IPL 2025. According to a report in Cricbuzz, former captain Dhoni, who led Chennai to five IPL titles, will meet franchise officials in Mumbai in mid-October to give his final decision.
If Dhoni decides to take part in IPL 2025, he will have to take a 66.67 percent pay cut compared to his retention price of Rs 12 crore before the 2021 auction. According to media reports, under the new rules of BCCI, uncapped players can be retained at a price of Rs 4 crore.
