Jobs in India: While presenting this year’s Budget (Union Budget 2024), Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had also announced to start Internship Scheme in the country. There is a lot of curiosity in the minds of the youth regarding this. Now information is coming out that this scheme is going to start this month. Many companies will start it from Thursday itself. She will start posting the list of her needs on the portal. However, this portal for the youth will start from October 12. The central government claims that this internship scheme will benefit about one crore youth. They will get experience of working in top 500 companies of the country, which will be useful to them in future.
CII and Corporate Affairs Ministry are working together
According to the report of Business Today, companies across the country are excited about this scheme. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is working closely with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the success of this scheme. According to the report, companies will be included in this scheme considering their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) expenditure of 3 years. It is being brought under PM Skill and Employment Development Package.
These youth will get a chance, those doing professional courses will be out
Youth of 21 to 24 years who have passed 10th can participate in this scheme. However, he should not be in any job. Apart from this, students doing IIT, IIM, IISER, CA and any other professional course will also not be able to participate in it. Apart from this, youth from families doing government jobs and whose family income is more than Rs 8 lakh will also not be included in the internship scheme.
Will have to apply on the portal, from there the youth will be selected for 12 months.
To apply for the internship scheme, you will have to go to the portal and create your profile. Also, e-KYC will have to be done through Aadhar card. Along with this, you will also have to give a declaration form along with your qualifications. After this, double the number of candidates for each post will be selected by the portal. After this, companies will select the right people from among them and send them offer letters. 50 percent training will be useful in this. After completion of 12 months of internship, your certificate will be uploaded on the portal itself.
