India Unhappy Before Boxing Day Test: The teams of India and Australia are present in Melbourne for the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Here both the teams are preparing for the Boxing Day Test starting from 26th December. Amidst the preparations, ‘clever’ Australia made a big move, due to which Team India appeared unhappy. So let us know what was done by Australia, due to which Team India was unhappy.
Actually the matter is about the practice pitch. According to Dainik Jagran, Team India is unhappy with the practice pitches found in Melbourne. Told that Team India was given an old pitch for practice, which has very less bounce. That’s why Team India looked unhappy.
Australian pitches are known for their excellent bounce. It is not easy for the batsmen to calculate the bounce here. In such a situation, it would not be right for Team India to practice on a pitch with low bounce. You can also call this a trick of Australia.
It is important for Team India to win the Boxing Day Test
To keep the hopes of the World Test Championship final alive, it will be necessary for the Indian team to win the Test to be played in Melbourne. If Team India loses in Melbourne, then the hopes of the World Test Championship final will begin to fade away.
The series is tied at 1-1
Three matches of Border-Gavaskar Trophy have been played between India and Australia. In the first Test played in Perth, Team India won by 295 runs. Then in the Pink Ball Test played in Adelaide, Australia made a brilliant comeback and won by 10 wickets to level the series 1-1. After this, the third Test played at Gabba in Brisbane ended in a draw. In this way, after three matches, the series is tied at 1-1.
