Stock Market Opening On 26 November 2024: The Indian stock market opened with a strong rise for the second consecutive trading session after the landslide victory of the ruling BJP-led alliance in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Due to strong buying in banking stocks and shares of government companies, BSE Sensex opened at 80415 points with a jump of 305 points, while Nifty of National Stock Exchange opened at 24,343 points with a jump of 121 points.

In today’s trade, Nifty IT index is up by more than 500 points due to buying in IT stocks. Apart from this, buying is being seen in shares of Banking, Auto, Pharma, FMCG, Metals, Real Estate, Consumer Durables, Healthcare and Oil and Gas sectors. In today’s business, a rise is being seen in the stocks of all sectors. Midcap and smallcap shares are also trading rapidly in today’s business. Nifty midcap index is trading with a rise of 380 points.

In today’s trade, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 10 stocks are trading with a rise and 20 with a fall. Infosys is trading with a rise of 2.41 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.48 percent, Tata Steel 1.18 percent, HCL Tech 1.15 percent, Asian Paints 1.04 percent, ICICI Bank 0.68 percent. Among the falling stocks, UltraTech Cement is trading with a fall of 2.12 percent, Adani Ports by 1.98 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 1.14 percent, Sun Pharma by 1.05 percent, L&T by 0.81 percent, NTPC by 0.76 percent, Maruti Suzuki by 0.83 percent.
Mixed business for Asian markets
Indian markets are bullish while Asian markets are seeing mixed business. Japan’s Nikkei is trading with a decline of about 600 points. There is also a decline in Taiwan’s exchange. Kospi and Jakarta Composite are also trading falling. Only the markets of Shanghai Composite and Hang Seng are trading rapidly.
