Dipa has won many medals for India. He has shared a letter on X. Deepa’s pain is also expressed in this letter. She wrote, ‘After much thought, I have decided that I am retiring from gymnastics. This decision has not been easy. But now the right time has come. Gymnastics has been the biggest part of my life. I remember that five year old Deepa who was told that she could never become a gymnast because of flat feet. Today I feel very proud to see the achievements.

By then I felt that I could push my body further. But sometimes our body tells us that it is time to rest. But the heart still does not agree.
Dipa Karmakar has won gold for India –
Dipa has won many medals for India. He won the gold medal in the Asian Championship 2024. Whereas earlier in 2015 he had won the bronze medal. Dipa has won bronze medal in Commonwealth Games 2014. He won gold in the World Cup 2018. Bronze was also won this year.
