India Women vs West Indies Women 2nd T20I Highlights: West Indies women’s team defeated Team India by 9 wickets in the second match of the three-match T20 series. The Indian team had won the first match, but West Indies counterattacked and leveled the series 1-1. Now the third T20 of the series will be played as the final. Captain Healy Mathews played an important role in helping West Indies win the second match, playing an inning of 85* runs at a strike rate of 180.85.
In the match played at DY Patil Sports Academy, tremendous batting was seen from West Indies. Chasing the target of 160, West Indies won in just 15.4 overs. During this period the team lost only one wicket.

Captain Smriti Mandhana played the biggest innings for the team and scored 62 runs in 41 balls with the help of 9 fours and 1 six. Apart from this, Richa Ghosh scored 32 runs in 17 balls with the help of 6 sixes. During this period, four bowlers took 2-2 wickets for West Indies. Team India lost one wicket through runout.
West Indies did wonders in run chase
Captain Healy Mathews and Kianna Joseph gave a good start to West Indies while chasing the target. Both of them made a partnership of 66 (40 balls) runs for the first wicket. West Indies got its first blow in the 7th over, when Kianna Joseph returned to the pavilion. Kiana Joseph scored 38 runs in 22 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. Then Shamayne Campbell along with Healy Mathews made an unbroken partnership of 94* (55 balls) for the second wicket and gave the team victory. During this, captain Healy Mathews scored 85* in 47 balls with the help of 17 fours and Shamaine Campbell scored 29* in 26 balls with the help of 4 fours.
