INDIA 2047: India will become the third largest economy in the world in the next three years. An economy of US$ 30 trillion will be created by 2047. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said these things while addressing the Platinum Jubilee function of XLRI Management Institute, Jamshedpur. Dharmendra Pradhan said that when XLRI came into existence 75 years ago, India was not counted on the economic front of the world. Today we are the world’s fastest growing and fifth largest economy with a size of US$3 trillion. We will be the third largest economy with five trillion US dollars in the next three years.
The aim of the new education policy is to generate wealth and employment.
The Union Education Minister said that the objective of the new education policy is to generate wealth and employment. He advised the students to play a constructive role in making the country a mega powerhouse and a driving force in the world. Dharmendra Pradhan said that we have the potential to generate lakhs of jobs. The world is looking towards India for digital infrastructure. 46 percent of digital transactions in the world take place in our country. We have become self-reliant in the service sector.
50 percent jobs in moonlight format by 2028
The Union Minister said that by 2028, more than half of the jobs will be in moonlight format. This means that the trend of working at two places simultaneously will increase. Till now 30 percent jobs are running in moonlight format. To meet this need, there is a need to provide multidisciplinary courses to the students. He said that when a well-organized city like Jamshedpur can be established in Bihar, then why can’t it happen in other places in the country. He said that students now need to move forward in the direction of global work culture. The work is not going to work without this.
