IND vs AUS 3rd Test Playing XI: The third Test between India and Australia is being played at the historic Gabba ground in Brisbane. Both the teams are currently tied with each other in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. But for the third Test being played in Brisbane, Team India has made two major changes in its playing eleven. Akashdeep has got a place in the playing eleven in place of fast bowler Harshit Rana, while Ravindra Jadeja has got a place in the playing eleven in place of Ravichandran Ashwin.
Harshit, who played under Gautam Gambhir in KKR, took a total of 4 wickets in the Perth Test, but due to poor bowling in the Adelaide Pink Ball Test, he lost his place. Harshit gave away 86 runs in 16 overs in the pink ball test. In such a situation, his place has been given to Akashdeep, who has taken 10 wickets in 5 test matches so far. Ravichandran Ashwin got a chance in the Adelaide Test, but he could not leave his mark with both ball and bat.
In the Adelaide Test, it was seen that Harshit Rana was not able to keep his line and length accurate. For this reason the Australian batsmen thrashed him badly. On the other hand, Akashdeep is capable of bowling on the same wicket continuously. This could be the reason why he has been given a chance in the series before the famous Krishna. Meanwhile, talking about batting, looking at the announcement of the playing eleven, it seems as if Rohit Sharma is going to bat at the sixth position again.
India’s playing eleven for the third test: Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Akashdeep.
