Rohit Sharma Press Conference India vs New Zealand: The three-Test series between India and New Zealand is starting from October 16. The first test will be played in Bengaluru, before which Indian captain Rohit Sharma has claimed to be fully prepared against the Kiwi team. Rohit told that his focus will be on improving his performance instead of the opposition team. Apart from this, he also reacted to Jasprit Bumrah being made the vice-captain.
Rohit Sharma said, “Different teams present different challenges to us. New Zealand is a different team and they will present a new challenge to us, but we have played a lot of cricket with them. We know their players, their strengths. And we are aware of our weaknesses. No matter who comes in front of us, our target is to learn from the previous series. Also perform well.”

Jasprit Bumrah has been made the vice-captain of Team India for the upcoming series against New Zealand. Rohit Sharma gave a statement regarding Bumrah that making him captain is one of the long-term leadership role plans of the management. He told that Bumrah has already started mentoring the youth and sharing his experience with them. Captain Rohit believes that Bumrah has the ability to take command of the Indian team when needed. India has recently defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the test series. Now the series against New Zealand is also going to be important from the point of view of the World Test Championship.
