IND vs AUS 3rd Test India Assistant Coach Injured: In the India vs Australia third test match, only 13.2 overs could be played on the first day. The game could not proceed due to heavy rain, but when both the teams came to the Gabba ground on the second day, an unfortunate incident happened before the start of the game. Actually, practice was going on before the start of the second day’s play, when an assistant coach of the Indian team was hit on the head by the ball. After this incident, it seemed as if a crowd had gathered on the field.
Warm-up was going on at the Gabba ground on the second day, when Team India’s assistant coach Nuwan Seneviratne was making the players practice by throwing the ball, then a scary incident was witnessed. According to a media report, Seneviratne was wearing a baseball glove on his hand. He was trying to catch a ball during practice, but due to not being able to catch it, the ball hit him directly on his head. Such pictures have come to light that the coach fell on the field after being hit by the ball and the support staff of Team India came forward to help him.
Seneviratne remained lying on the ground for some time, but after some time he applied an ice pack and went out of the field. A media report has revealed that the assistant coach either could not see the ball or could not understand where the ball was coming. Seneviratne himself walked out of the field. Well, one good thing is that unlike the first day, rain did not interfere in the play at the Gabba ground on the second day.
After the start of the second day’s play, Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was also seen getting into trouble. Siraj had a leg strain problem in the 37th over of the innings. He went out of the field after two balls were bowled in the over.
