India A Wins Duleep Trophy 2024: The India A team captained by Mayank Agarwal has won the Duleep Trophy 2024 title. India A defeated India C by 132 runs. Sai Sudarshan scored a century for the India C team captained by Rituraj Gaikwad. But he could not lead the team to victory. Gaikwad could not do anything special in the first innings. At the same time, he returned to the pavilion after scoring 44 runs in the second innings. For India, Shashwat Rawat scored a century in the first innings and a half-century in the second.
India A scored 297 runs in the first innings. During this, Shashwat batted brilliantly. He scored 124 runs facing 250 balls. Shashwat’s innings included 15 fours. Avesh Khan hit an unbeaten half-century. He scored 51 runs in 68 balls. After this, India declared the second innings after scoring 286 runs. During this, Riyan Parag contributed 73 runs. Riyan hit 5 fours and 1 six. Shashwat scored 53 runs. Kushagra played an innings of 42 runs.
India C could not win even with Sudarshan’s century –
Team India C, captained by Gaikwad, scored 234 runs in the first innings. During this, Abhishek Porel played an innings of 82 runs. He hit 9 fours. Rajat Patidar got out on zero. Sai Sudarshan returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs. In the second innings, the team was all out after scoring 217 runs. Gaikwad contributed 44 runs. While Sudarshan scored a century. He scored 111 runs in 206 balls. However, he could not make the team win. Apart from them, no one could do anything special.
