IND vs SL T20Is Ravi Bishnoi Cut Below Eye: The Indian cricket team has gone on a tour to Sri Lanka to play the first T20 series with new head coach Gautam Gambhir, new captain Suryakumar Yadav and new vice-captain Shubman Gill. The first match of the Indian team in the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka was played on 27 July, in which the Indian team played brilliantly and managed to win this match by a big margin. In this match, an accident happened with Ravi Bishnoi which will leave everyone stunned. Actually, while bowling, he narrowly escaped an eye injury. However, he bowled even after being injured.

Ravi Bishnoi tried to catch such a catch in the first T-20 match played against Sri Lanka on Saturday that everyone was left stunned. However, luck favoured him and the ball did not touch his eye, otherwise a big accident could have happened.
All this happened in the 16th over of the match, when captain Suryakumar Yadav handed the ball to Bishnoi. Sri Lankan batsman Kamindu Mendis hit Bishnoi’s googly, but the ball came straight towards Bishnoi. Bishnoi tried to catch it with one hand, but the ball slipped from his hand and hit his eye. If it had been a little higher, he could have been seriously injured.

Even after this incident, Bishnoi did not lose courage and came back and dismissed Sri Lankan captain Charith Aslanka. By the time of the match, Sri Lanka’s team was able to score only 164 runs for 7 wickets in 17.5 overs. India, batting first, scored 213 runs for 7 wickets. India won this match by 43 runs.
The second match of this series will be played today i.e. on 28th July at 7 pm. After this, the last match of this series will be played on 30th July. After the T20 series ends, a three-match ODI series will be played between India and Sri Lanka from 2nd August.
