India made a strong comeback in the last 5 overs
At one point, the Sri Lankan team had scored 130 runs for the loss of two wickets in 15 overs. Looking at the way Kusal Perera and Kamindu Mendis were batting, it could be said that Sri Lanka could reach 180-190 runs. But in the 16th over, Hardik Pandya gave a double blow to the host team by sending Mendis and then Perera to the pavilion. In the very next over, Ravi Bishnoi took the wickets of Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga in 2 consecutive balls, but missed out on taking a hat-trick. Indian bowlers have restricted Sri Lanka to a score of 161 runs by giving just 31 runs in the death overs. Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets, while Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh also took two wickets each.
