Mohammed Siraj Said What is he missing in the garden: The second day of the practice match between India and Australia Prime Minister’s XI was full of excitement. The play was canceled on the first day due to rain, but despite the changing weather in Canberra, the play on the second day started on time as scheduled. The Indian team gave the responsibility of bowling the initial overs to experienced fast bowler Mohammad Siraj in place of Jasprit Bumrah. Siraj put the Australian openers in trouble with his fast and accurate bowling. But such a scene was seen in the first over itself, which filled the thrill of the game with a little humor.
Mention of ‘Garden’ on cricket field
Siraj troubled batsman Matt Renshaw on the first four balls of the over. After the fourth ball, when Siraj ran to bowl the next ball, Renshaw suddenly left his batting position and moved away.
Matt Renshaw was distracted because a security guard was moving around the sight screen in the stands. This incident made Siraj angry and he said in a loud voice, “O brother, are you roaming in the garden?”
Hearing this line the audience present there started laughing. This funny reaction of Siraj also went viral on social media. Rohit Sharma had also once addressed his junior team in the same manner, due to which this line became very popular among the youth.
Team India leaves for Adelaide Test
The Indian team has won the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The first Test was played in Perth, in which Mohammed Siraj took important 5 wickets in both the innings. Siraj also bowled brilliantly against Prime Minister’s XI. He prevented Prime Minister’s XI batsmen from scoring runs and also took one wicket. Now India’s next match in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is going to be held at Adelaide Oval. Which is a pink ball day-night test match.
