India vs New Zealand 1st Test: The first day’s play of the Test match between India and New Zealand to be played in Bengaluru has been cancelled. There has been heavy rain in Bengaluru. For this reason the match could not start. Even the toss could not take place. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared information regarding this. Now the toss will take place on Thursday, the second day of the match. BCCI has also informed the time of toss and match.
The test match between India and New Zealand was to start at 9.30 am on Wednesday. For this the toss was to be held at 9 am. But it has rained a lot here. For this reason even the toss could not take place. It has also rained intermittently in Bengaluru. Now BCCI has announced the new time of the match and toss. The toss for this match will take place on Thursday morning at 8.45 am. The match will start at 9.15. The first day of the match was completely washed out.
The session time will also change on the second day –
The timing of the session will also change on the second day of the Bengaluru Test. The first session of the day will be from 9.15 am to 11.30 am. The second session will be from 12.10 pm to 02.25 pm. Whereas the third session will be from 02.45 pm to 04.45 pm.
Team India players did indoor practice –
If media reports are to be believed, many players including Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal did indoor practice on the first day of the match. The ground was very wet due to rain. For this reason the players practiced indoor. Kohli and Yashasvi were also seen carrying kit bags from the field. Yashasvi and Kohli’s place in the playing eleven is almost certain. Yashasvi may get a chance to open with Rohit Sharma.
