It is being claimed on social media that M Chinnaswamy Stadium located in Bengaluru, India has the best drainage system. A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media platform X, in which a sample of M Chinnaswamy’s drainage system is being shown.
It can be seen in the video that water is first poured into the stadium and then waited for a few moments. After a few moments the water almost completely disappears. This is not the first time that such a scene has been seen at Chinnaswamy Stadium, but it has been seen before also. Drainage system was built in Chinnaswamy Stadium after the test was canceled
Let us tell you that in 2015, the Test played between India and South Africa at M Chinnaswamy Stadium was cancelled. After 81 overs of play, rain intervened and the match could not be restarted. Then finally the match had to be cancelled. According to the reports, after the cancellation of this test, within 7 months between 2016 and 2017, Karnataka State Cricket Association installed sub air system in the stadium. This system became a boon for the stadium. According to reports, the cost of installing this system was around Rs 4.5 crore.
