Najmul Hossain Shanto Reaction: The third and last match of the three-match T20 series between India and Bangladesh was played last Saturday (October 12) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Bangladesh had to face a crushing defeat by 133 runs in the match. There were many reasons behind this big defeat of the team, but after the match, captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto told the bitter truth.
After the defeat in the third T20, Shanto clearly told that things did not go according to plan in all the three matches. He said that batting and bowling were flops in all three matches. Apart from this he said that we will have to change many things.
Speaking after the match, Nazmul Hussain Shanto said, “We did not play our best cricket. In all three matches, as a batting group, we did not go according to our plan. In terms of bowling, we bowled some good overs in some matches. Today All the bowlers bowled poorly.”
Shanto further said, “It is very important that we believe in ourselves that we can compete with any team. We need to change a lot of things, especially on the home wicket. The players have to take responsibility. The way Hridoy batted was impressive. I really liked all the seamers, they tried to work according to their plan. The top order batsmen need to improve a lot.”
This was the condition of the match
