IND vs BAN 2nd Test Day 3 Report: The third day of India vs Bangladesh Kanpur Test has also been declared cancelled. There was no rain in Kanpur on 29 September, but no game could be played due to the ground being wet. Due to the overnight rain, water had seeped deep into the soil of the field. On the third day, the ground staff was seen working hard, but the Green Park stadium was not ready to play. At present Bangladesh’s score is 107 runs at the loss of 3 wickets.
The ground umpire had arrived to inspect the field at 10 am Indian time. Both the umpires were not at all happy to see the condition of the outfield. Two hours later, i.e. at 12 o’clock, the umpires came on the field again, but still the hard work of the ground staff was not successful because wet spots had formed on the field due to water. There was no rain at all in the Green Park Stadium area since morning, yet when the ground was inspected for the last time at 2 o’clock, the umpires took the final decision and declared the day’s play cancelled.
It’s been two days since it was canceled
Let us remind you that on the first day also the play started late due to rain. The toss was delayed by an hour, in which India had decided to bowl first. On the first day, the visiting team had scored 107 runs at the loss of 3 wickets after playing 35 overs. After that the game has been canceled for two consecutive days. The game was stopped due to rain on the second day, whereas on the third day it did not rain but the players could not even practice due to the wet field. India is leading 1-0 in this two-match series. Team India won the first match by 280 runs.
