IND vs BAN 2nd T20 First Innings: India has scored 221 runs while playing first in the second T20 match. The biggest hero of the Indian innings was Nitish Kumar Reddy, who tied the score at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi by playing a stormy inning of 74 runs in his second international match. Team India had lost 3 wickets within 41 runs, but from there Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh made their mark and took the team’s score beyond 200. The best bowling for Bangladesh was done by Taskin Ahmed, who took 2 wickets while bowling with an excellent economy rate.
Both the opening batsmen of Team India, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma had returned to the pavilion till the score of 25 runs. Samson was out after scoring 10 runs and Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring 15 runs. After him, captain Suryakumar Yadav also got out cheaply after scoring 8 runs. After that, Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh together put India in a strong position by adding 108 runs in just 48 balls. Nitish scored 74 runs in 34 balls, during which he hit 4 fours and 7 sixes. On the other hand Rinku scored 53 runs in 29 balls.
99 runs scored in the last 8 overs
At one time Team India’s score was 122 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. In the very next over, Mehdi Hasan gave away 26 runs. From here the runs gained such momentum that fours and sixes kept raining. In the last 8 overs, the Indian team batted in a stormy style and scored a total of 99 runs. Nitish was out after scoring 74 runs in the 14th over, but Hardik Pandya and Rinku Singh did not let the pace of runs slow down.
Hardik scored 32 runs in 19 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. By the 19th over, Team India had scored 213 runs and it seemed as if the Indian team would easily cross the mark of 230 runs. But a total of 3 wickets fell in the last over, due to which Team India was able to score 221 runs on the scoreboard. Talking about Bangladesh, Rishad Hussain took maximum 3 wickets. Whereas Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Saqib and Mustafizur Rahman took 2-2 wickets.
