Rohit and Kohli fell early, Shubhaman also failed
Captain Rohit Sharma’s poor record against Bangladesh in Test cricket continues. He was deceived by Hasan Mahmud’s outswing ball, which took the edge of the bat and went to the slip. Rohit was able to score only 6 runs in 19 balls in his innings. Apart from him, Virat Kohli was also out in the same manner. Hasan Mahmud’s ball also took the edge of his bat and went to the wicketkeeper. Kohli scored 6 runs and has not been able to score a single century in the last five innings. Shubman Gill got a chance at number-3, but he has been heavily criticized for getting out on a score of zero after playing 8 balls.
Ashwin-Jadeja’s unbeaten partnership of 195 runs

Excellent bowling by Hasan Mahmud
Hasan Mahmud was the most successful bowler from Bangladesh. 24-year-old Mahmud has pace, but his bounce on the first day against India kept creating problems for the Indian batsmen. He maintained such bounce that the ball kept moving. He took 4 wickets for 58 runs in 18 overs. Mahmud dismissed Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant. All these four batsmen got caught by the wicketkeeper or slip. Apart from him, Mehdi Hasan and Nahid Rana also took one wicket each.
