The 19-year-old young batsman completed his half-century in 52 balls and took an aggressive stance against Jasprit Bumrah and took his balls across the boundary. After completing his half-century, Sam Constas received a standing ovation from the crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He said, “It is quite a surreal experience. I just want to play with complete freedom and enjoy the opportunity.”
Jadeja hunted Constas
Sam Constance had become a headache for the Indian bowlers. Constance targeted every Indian bowler in his debut match. But Sam Constance had to kneel in front of Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja dismissed Constas in the 19.2nd over.
Sam Constas’s debut innings included 6 fours and 2 sixes, one of which was a reverse scoop against Bumrah. However, after scoring 60 runs in 65 balls at a strike rate of 92.30, he was out LBW on the ball of Ravindra Jadeja.
