IND vs AUS 2nd test innings highlights: The Indian team was all out on the score of 180 runs in the first innings of Adelaide Test. The day-night test between India and Australia is being played from Friday. Team India had a bad start. But Nitish Reddy played an important inning for the team by adding runs. He hit 3 fours and 3 sixes during his innings of 42 runs. Australian bowlers performed brilliantly. Mitchell Starc took 6 wickets.
India had a bad start. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was out on zero. Mitchell Starc showed him the way to the pavilion. India’s second wicket fell in the form of KL Rahul. Captain Rohit flopped –
A half-century partnership was formed between Shubman Gill and Rahul. But it could not last long. Shubman was out after scoring 31 runs in 51 balls. He hit 5 fours. Rishabh Pant faced 35 balls and scored 21 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring just 3 runs. They could not do anything special. Ashwin scored 22 runs with the help of 3 fours. Harshit Rana could not even open an account.
Nitish Reddy gave a befitting reply –
Reddy gave a befitting reply to the Australian bowlers. He faced 54 balls and scored 42 runs. This innings of Reddy included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Mohammad Siraj scored 4 unbeaten runs with the help of one four.
Australian bowlers wreaked havoc –
Mitchell Starc proved fatal for India. He took 6 wickets for 48 runs in 14.1 overs. He took 2 maiden overs. Captain Pat Cummins took 2 wickets. He gave 41 runs in 12 overs. Scott Boland took 2 wickets for 54 runs in 13 overs.
