Yograj Singh Champions Trophy 2025 India Squad: Team India for Champions Trophy 2025 has been announced by BCCI. Now former Indian player Yograj Singh i.e. Yuvraj Singh’s father reacted to India’s Champions Trophy squad. He explained the importance of keeping senior players in the team.
Yograj Singh talked about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Apart from this, he also took the name of Shubman Gill. While talking to news agency ANI, Yograj Singh praised the selectors for Team India selected for the Champions Trophy.
Talking about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Yugraj Singh said, “I want to congratulate BCCI and the people who supported them. I have always said that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma should not be dropped. If you have dropped If we do, your team will fall apart, we may lose in Australia, but we should also not forget that we have defeated them in the last two series.
Yograj Singh further praised the selectors and said, “I was worried that 5-6 people could be dropped, which could include Shubman and Virat. I was supporting them, so I think it’s great. I want to congratulate the board, the think tank and the selectors.”
Champions Trophy 2025 begins
Let us tell you that the Champions Trophy will start from 19th February while the final of the tournament will be played on 9th March. The tournament will be hosted by Pakistan but Team India will play all its matches in Dubai. The Indian team will play its first match of the Champions Trophy against Bangladesh on 20 February. Team India is present in Group-A of the tournament, which includes Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand along with Men in Blue.
