Apple iPhone: The government has issued an alert for Apple iPhone users in the country. Actually, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) of the Government of India has issued an alert for iPhone and other Apple device users. Let us tell you that this alert has been issued especially for those devices which are using old software versions. According to the report, serious security flaws have been found in these devices, which can promote cyber threats.
For which devices is the alert?
For your information, let us tell you that this alert has been issued for devices based on older version of Apple software. Products like iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Safari are also included in this list.
iOS: Versions older than version 18.1.1.
iPadOS: Versions older than version 17.7.2.
macOS: versions older than version 15.1.1.
Safari: Versions older than version 18.1.1.
If your device is running on any of these versions, it may be vulnerable to cyber threats.

Let us tell you that such flaws have been found in old software, which cyber criminals can take advantage of. CERT-In has advised that users immediately update their devices to the latest version. If a software update is no longer available for your device, you should consider purchasing a new device.
How will iPhone be updated?
If you also want to update your iPhone then just follow these steps.
- Go to Settings: Open your iPhone’s Settings app.
- Select General: From here click on General option.
- Click on Software Update: Now select the Software Update option.
- Download and install: If an update is available, download and install it. In this way your phone will also be updated.
