Younus Khan believes that now only one thing is left in Virat Kohli’s career, that is to visit Pakistan and perform there. While making this comment, Khan said that India should participate in the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan in 2025.
Yunus Khan’s unique statement about Virat Kohli
Younus Khan said, “Virat Kohli should come to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. This is our wish too. I think the only thing left in Virat’s career now is to tour Pakistan and perform well here.”
The last time India went to Pakistan was in 2008 for the Asia Cup. Since then, India has not toured Pakistan due to political tensions between the two countries. Then gradually the bilateral series between the two also ended. Now both teams come face to face only in some tournament.
PCB puts the responsibility of convincing BCCI on ICC
According to the draft schedule of Champions Trophy 2025, all the matches of India will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The semi-finals and final matches will also be played here.
Speaking to PTI, a PCB insider said, “It is now up to the ICC to decide how quickly it circulates, discusses and finalises the Champions Trophy schedule. The PCB has suggested in the draft schedule that all India matches, including the semi-finals and the final, be held in Lahore.”
