Champions Trophy 2025 India vs Pakistan Schedule: Pakistan is going to host the ICC Champion Trophy 2025. It can be hosted between 19 February and 9 March. In this, teams from eight countries will play against each other. These eight teams have been divided into two groups. But the big news for cricket fans is that India and Pakistan can face each other three times in the entire tournament of this Champion Trophy. Which every fan is wishing for.
In the group stage, eight teams will play in two groups
A total of 8 teams will participate in the ICC Champions Trophy. India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A. The 8 teams have been selected on the basis of their position in the group stage of the ODI World Cup 2023. Pakistan has been automatically selected as the host.
Apart from India and Pakistan, Group A also includes Bangladesh and New Zealand. Group B includes Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa. The top 2 teams from each group will play in the Super 4. The top 2 teams from the Super 4 will qualify for the final.
India and Pakistan can clash three times in Champions Trophy
India and Pakistan are in the same group, so they will play each other once in the group stage. If both teams qualify for the Super 4, they will play against each other once again and finally, if both teams top the Super 4, they will play against each other in the final of the Champions Trophy.
Indian cricket team will not tour Pakistan
As per the current situation, the Indian cricket team will not tour Pakistan. Instead, the BCCI wants a hybrid model in which India will play at a neutral venue. Like it happened in Asia Cup 2023. But the PCB has objected to this and claimed that they want to host the entire tournament in their country.
