India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025: ICC has shared big information on the matter of Champions Trophy 2025. He has told that this tournament will be held under hybrid model only. Team India will play all its matches at neutral venues. However, ICC has not yet released the schedule of the Champions Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India had refused to send Team India to Pakistan for the tournament. Therefore, accepting BCCI’s point, ICC has approved the hybrid model. Along with this, ICC has also given a good news to Pakistan.
ICC has shared information regarding Champions Trophy on its website. ICC said that the matches between India and Pakistan will be held in the hybrid model in the cycle from 2024 to 2027. Both these teams will play their matches at neutral venues. This rule will be applicable to the upcoming ICC tournaments. Now ICC will soon share the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament is to be organized in February and March next year.
These tournaments will be held in hybrid model along with Champions Trophy –
ICC has said that along with the Champions Trophy, there are other tournaments which will be held in hybrid model. Women’s World Cup 2025 will also be held on this model. It is to be organized in India. Therefore, Pakistan cricket team will not come to play India now. Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is to be organized in India and Sri Lanka. This tournament is also to be held in hybrid model.
Good news for Pakistan –
ICC has given a good news to Pakistan Cricket Board. It has decided that the Women’s T20 World Cup 2028 will be organized in Pakistan. But this tournament will also be held with hybrid model. Team India will not play its matches in Pakistan. Hosting rights have been given to Pakistan.
When will the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025 come –
The schedule of Champions Trophy has not come yet. But after the confirmation of the hybrid model, expectations have increased. ICC has said that the schedule of the tournament will be released soon.
Good news for Cricket Australia also –
ICC has given good news to Pakistan as well as Australia. Cricket Australia has got the hosting rights of ICC Senior Women’s Tournaments. Now from 2029 to 2031, ICC tournaments for women’s cricket will be held in Australia only.
