A report in Times of India said that all the teams will have to announce a 15-member provisional (which is subject to change) squad by January 12. However, teams can make changes in their squad till 13 February. The tournament will start from 19th February.
The report quoted an ICC source as saying, “All teams will have to submit their provisional squads by January 12, but changes can be made till February 13. It will be up to the teams whether they announce their squads or not because the ICC “Will release the submitted squad on 13th February.”
India’s white ball series against England before Champions Trophy
Let us tell you that before the Champions Trophy, Team India will play a white ball series against England on home soil. 5 T20 International and 3 ODI matches will be played in this series. The series will start from January 22. First T20 matches will be played. Then the three-match ODI series will start from 6th February. This will be Team India’s last ODI series before the Champions Trophy, through which the team will be able to prepare for the tournament.
