This incident is from 1991. A 22-year-old girl named Anju Sharma passed the UPSC exam and became Assistant Collector in Rajkot. When people heard about the success of this girl, which was in the news and newspaper headlines, they were stunned. Anju, who became IAS of Gujarat cadre, said that she never accepted defeat. She had failed in Economics subject in 12th. And could not even pass the 10th pre board exam.
However, he received dictation in other subjects. In an interview, he told that instead of getting nervous or worried, I took studies seriously and focused on preparations. During this time his mother kept motivating him. He said that instead of getting disappointed once you fail, learn from it. Cleared IAS exam in first attempt
Her experts say that Anju had understood that her study strategy was not right. That is why in college he focused on studies from the beginning. Didn’t look back again. He joined college and not only this, he won a gold medal in college. He studied B.Sc. and MBA from Jaipur. After this, along with my graduation studies, I also started preparing for UPSC. At the age of 22, she passed the UPSC exam in her first attempt. The first posting was on the post of Assistant Collector in Rajkot. Then she became Collector in Gandhinagar and now she is the Principal Secretary in the Higher and Technical Education Secretariat of the Education Department, Gandhinagar.
