Abhishek Bachchan’s latest release ‘I Want to Talk’ was neither promoted much nor had any buzz. Actually this film is for a niche, multiplex audience, because many of its dialogues are in English and its subject is also not something that will reach the audience on a large scale. Therefore it has not been released on a large number of screens. Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘I Want to Talk’ opened with Rs 25 lakh on the first day of its release and a slight increase was seen on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the film had collected Rs 55 lakh. Now the initial figures of the film’s earnings on the third day of its release i.e. Sunday have come.

‘I Want to Talk’ is facing competition from Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report as well as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. This film is earning decent money at the ticket window. While ‘I Want to Talk’ has not been able to earn much on the opening weekend, the makers are hopeful that due to the excellent reviews and word of mouth, the film’s earnings will increase. In the film, Abhishek plays the role of Arun Sen, a father and marketing genius who develops cancer. Along with Johnny Lever, Ahilya Bamru, Jayant Kripalani, Pearle Dey and Christine Goddard also play important roles in the film.
