I want to talk Abhishek Bachchan, who recently appeared before the audience with an excellent performance, is very close to his mother. Despite this, he is always compared with his father Amitabh Bachchan. Despite such comparisons, he has always proved himself. In Shoojit Sircar’s film ‘I Want to Talk’, he has again shown his amazing acting skills.
While talking to ETimes, he shared an anecdote related to his mother Jaya Bachchan. He answered the question that what do actors have to do for a character.
Abhishek Bachchan remembered an incident of mother Jaya Bachchan
Talking about mother Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek said that – My mother had worked with Govind Nihalani in the film ‘Hajar Chaurasi Ki Maa’ in the 90s. I was an assistant director at that time. She came back and was looking very upset, so I asked her what happened.
Abhishek further says that the mother told – “I have to do a scene in which I have to identify my son’s body.” I didn’t understand.” After this, Govind ji asked his mother to shoot the scene in a very interesting and special way. He said that you should believe that your son Abhishek is lying there.
Abhishek further says- It really seems very difficult, but actors have to go through it. It was possible that even if he had not said so, mother would have had to imagine something like this to make that emotion real. An actor also has to bring a lot of personal things to his work.
Actor’s performance depends on the director
While talking to ETimes, the actor also told that the performance of an actor depends a lot on his director. Pointing towards Shoojit Sircar, the director of his recently released film, he said that we actors are just like well-paid puppets, whereas the real grandmaster is the director who makes those puppets dance.
‘I Want to Talk’ is one of the best films of the year 2024.
This film of Shoojit Sircar is based on a true incident. In which a very positive perspective on seeing and living life has been presented in many layers. Shoojit Sarkar has told in a conversation with ABP News that this film is not just a film, but a philosophy.
