How did Adah Sharma get the offer of Kerala Story?

Adah Sharma is an actress who has appeared in both Hindi and Telugu films. She has played the lead actress role in the film Kerala Story. She started her film career with the horror film 1920, released in 2008. Adah Sharma told how she got the offer to do the film Kerala Story, she told that she was not the first choice of director Sudipto Sen but Sudipto Sen needed an actress who knew both Hindi and Malayalam. Adah Sharma auditioned for the phone call cut scene in Malayalam. Adah Sharma’s parents speak Malayalam fluently but Adah Sharma is not able to speak fluent Malayalam because she has been living in Mumbai since the beginning. She told the director that she would learn and then after the audition, she was selected for the lead actress in Kerala story.
