Rashid Khan Age Fraud: In cricket, questions are often raised about the age of players. Players are accused of underreporting their age and playing international cricket for a long time. Currently, Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan is accused of age scam. Now Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi has made a big revelation about Rashid’s age.
In an interview given to Shubhankar Mishra, Hashmatullah Shahidi talked about Rashid Khan. During this, the age of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi was also discussed. Regarding Rashid’s age, Hashmatullah said, “Right now I think Rashid is 26 years old. I don’t know about Shahid Afridi.”
Hashmatullah Shahidi further said, “We have a saying that we are Pathans, we have one thing. We stop at one thing.” He further said jokingly, “So that is why we probably stopped at a certain age.”
Let us tell you that Rashid Khan celebrated his 26th birthday five days ago i.e. on 20 September. Rashid has been playing cricket for Afghanistan since 2015. Rashid started playing international cricket in his teens. He plays all three formats for Afghanistan.

Rashid has played 5 Tests, 105 ODIs and 93 T20 International matches in his career so far. He has taken 34 wickets in 9 innings of Tests. Apart from this, he has scored 106 runs while batting in 7 innings. Rashid has taken 190 wickets in 100 ODI innings and scored 1322 runs while batting in 82 innings, which includes 5 half-centuries. In the remaining 93 innings of T20 International, he has taken 152 wickets and scored 460 runs in 56 innings.
