Haryana Election 2024 Vinesh Phogat Casts Vote: Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 are being held today i.e. on Saturday 5th October. In which 1,031 candidates are trying their luck on 90 seats. This time Olympian Vinesh Phogat is also in the electoral fray. Vinesh Phogat is contesting from Julana assembly seat on Congress ticket. But Vinesh Charkhi was first seen at the polling booth of Dadri. She had gone to this polling booth to cast her vote. After casting her vote, Vinesh Phogat spoke to the media and also appealed to the people to vote in large numbers.
Vinesh spoke to journalists after casting her vote.
Speaking to reporters after casting her vote, Vinesh Phogat said, “Today is a very important day for the people of Haryana. This is the biggest festival of democracy and I appeal to everyone to go and cast their vote. 10 years ago When Bhupendra Singh Hooda was the Chief Minister, the level of sports in the state was very high. Today is a historic day and now the decision is in the hands of the people as to whom they hand over power to.
Vinesh laid emphasis on women’s rights
Emphasizing on women’s rights, Vinesh said, “Vote for the party which fights for women’s rights. I am sure you know which party I am talking about. We have to decide our future wisely. “

Vinesh Phogat joined Congress on 6 September
One of the prominent faces in Haryana elections is wrestler Vinesh Phogat. She joined the Congress party on September 6, along with Olympian wrestler Bajrang Punia, after she was disqualified from the women’s 50kg final at the Paris Olympics 2024.
More than 2.03 crore voters will vote in Haryana
According to the Election Commission, more than 2.03 crore voters will cast their votes in Haryana, which includes 1.07 crore men and 95.77 lakh women. 20,632 polling stations have been set up in the state for the elections, while a total of 1,031 candidates are trying their luck.
