Now Hardik Pandya has achieved the feat of scoring 29 runs in a single over while playing for Baroda. In fact, on 27 November, an exciting match was played between Baroda and Tamil Nadu at Holkar Stadium in Indore, in which Baroda won by 3 wickets. In the same match, Hardik has also come into limelight because he hit a fifty in just 20 balls.

In this match, Tamil Nadu, playing first, had scored a huge score of 221 runs. In reply, Baroda’s score had reached 156 runs at the loss of 6 wickets by the 16th over. Meanwhile, Gurjapaneet came to bowl in the 17th over, in whose over Hardik scored a total of 29 runs including four sixes and one four. While Baroda had to score 66 runs in the last 4 overs to win, after Hardik Pandya’s storm in the 17th over, his team had to score 36 runs in 18 balls.
By the end of the 16th over, Hardik Pandya had scored 15 runs in 10 balls. The Indian all-rounder hit a hat-trick of sixes on the first three balls of Gurjapaneet. Gurjapaneet no-balled in the fourth attempt, while Hardik again hit a six on the fourth official ball. Hardik scored a total of 29 runs in this over by taking a four on the fifth ball and a single on the last ball. There were 30 runs in the over including no balls.

Gurjapaneet bowls left-arm fast and came into the limelight during the IPL 2025 mega auction. He has been bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 2.20 crore. Gurjapaneet has played only two matches in his T20 career, in which he has taken only 2 wickets. He has also proven to be a deadly bowler because his height is 6 feet 3 inches and he bowls with his left hand at a very good angle.
