No decision has been taken yet regarding the organization of Champions Trophy 2025. If Team India does not go to Pakistan, then it can be organized under the hybrid model. The matches of the Indian team can be held in Dubai or Sri Lanka. Along with this, the semi-finals and final matches of the tournament can also be held at these places. Pakistan had submitted a draft to the ICC just after the T20 World Cup 2024. There was a plan for the Champions Trophy in it. But now its plan has been ruined.
Let us tell you that Team India has won the Champions Trophy title twice so far. India won this title in 2002 and 2013. In 2002, India and Sri Lanka were declared joint winners. Pakistan won this title in 2017. Australia has also won the Champions Trophy title twice. The Kangaroo team won in 2006 and 2009. South Africa won the trophy in 1998.
