The actress we are talking about is none other than Hansika Motwani, who started her TV career with a serial called ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. She also appeared as one of the children in ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.

In 2007, at the age of just 15, Hansika played the lead actress opposite Allu Arjun in Puri Jagannadh’s Telugu film ‘Desamuduru’. When this film became a hit, Hansika Motwani became a star overnight.

After this, she got offers for many films. In the same year, she made her Hindi film debut with Himesh Reshammiya in ‘Aap Ka Suroor’. However, this film was a super flop, after which Hansika Motwani distanced herself from the Hindi film industry.

Hansika Motwani’s personal life came into the limelight when she left Hinduism and adopted Buddhism.

The actress said in an interview about this, “The best way for me to relieve stress effectively is to chant Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo, as I follow Buddhism with full devotion.”

Hansika Motwani got embroiled in more controversies when she married her close friend Rinki’s ex-husband Sohail Kathuria in December 2022 and became her friend’s co-wife.

Hansika had a royal wedding with Sohail in Jaipur. After her marriage, Hansika Motwani was accused of being a home breaker. However, she did not pay any attention to these allegations and today she is enjoying a happy married life.

Hansika has acted in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films and continues to work in South cinema.

Hansika Motwani will now be seen in three films in the coming year, which include ‘Rowdy Baby’, ‘Man’ and ‘Gandhari’.
