Eleven Eleven Review: After the huge success of ‘Kill’, Raghav Juyal has once again come to impress everyone with his acting. With time, travelling, crime and thriller, the web series ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ has come to entangle everyone in the past and present.
This series, which is streaming on Zee5 from 9 August 2024, is the Hindi version of the Korean drama ‘Signal’. The makers’ thinking behind making ‘Gyaarah-Gyaarah’ seems to be that just like people in India like to watch Korean dramas, people will love this series as well.
Story
Though the ‘Gyaarah-Gyaarah’ series is being described as a crime-thriller series, it will have everything from time travelling to romance. The story revolves around police officers. It is shown how the police officers of 2016 connect with the police officers of the 90s as soon as the clock strikes 11:11. It is also very interesting to see how they solve the murder cases of the 90s.
Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra are shown talking to 90s police officer Dhairya Kamra. By talking to each other, these people solve many old cases for which orders to stop investigation are about to come from the court. At the same time, these people also change many things in the present. Similarly, this police team is shown solving one case after another.
How is the movie?
With a different concept, this series by Umesh Bisht is different from other crime thrillers. People who believe in time travel and science fiction may like this series. However, those who have no idea about all this may find it a little difficult to understand this series in the beginning. The crime cases shown in the story are easily solvable cases. Apart from this, talking in the past and present is shown to be quite common. That means you feel a little lack of drama. The first 4 episodes seem slow, after that the story becomes a little interesting.
Acting
Raghav Juyal has appeared in the role of 2016 officer ‘Yug Arya’ in the series and along with him, Kritika Kamra has appeared in the role of 2016 officer ‘Vamika Rawat’ and Dhairya Karwa has appeared in the role of 90s officer ‘Shaurya Anthwal’. Talking about acting, Raghav Juyal has done a great job this time too. At the same time, Kritika Kamra has also done a great job in the role of a police officer. If we talk about Dhairya Karna, he looks like a good police officer of the 90s but when it comes to emotional scenes, he seems to be lagging behind in acting.
Direction
‘Gyaar Gyaar’ is directed by Umesh Bisht. He also directed Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Pagglait’ which was released in 2021. This time the direction in ‘Gyaar Gyaar’ is good but the story seems to be moving a bit slow. The setup of the series has been kept in dark tone so that the focus remains on crime and thriller.
