Gurmeet Choudhary in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2: Actor Gurmeet Choudhary can be seen in his powerful character in the new season of ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen’. For this special character, the actor also worked on his hair style and his weight loss. Gurmeet has worked hard to play this special character in the series. To bring life to his role, the actor lost about 10 kg of weight through strict diet and heavy workouts.
Talking about working and his character in ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen’, actor Gurmeet said, “Playing the character of ‘Guru’ in the series was very challenging for me. Along with this, it was also very exciting. My director Siddharth Sengupta had a clear vision for my character, for which I had to prepare extensively.
What did Gurmeet Choudhary say on transformation?
Gurmeet Chaudhary further said, “For this, I participated in many acting workshops, cut my long hair short and followed a strict diet to lose weight. To get the desired look, I went for a run in Bandra every day and eventually I lost 10 kg.”
He said that working in this series was a very special experience for me. For this I am grateful to Siddharth sir, who believed in me and saw the character of a Guru in me. “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen” is a romantic crime thriller television series on Netflix created and directed by Siddharth Sengupta. The series also stars Shweta Tripathi and Aanchal Singh in the lead roles, along with Saurabh Shukla, Surya Sharma, Arunoday Singh and Brijendra Kala in supporting roles.
This season also sees the entry of Gurmeet Chaudhary, who is Purva’s friend and vows to bring her back home safely. It’s a dangerous game of survival, and with the powerful entry of Gurmeet Choudhary this season, the stakes have become even higher.

Gurmeet rose to fame playing the role of Ram in the 2009 television series Ramayan opposite Debina Banerjee. In this, Debina played the role of Sita. The actor has taken part in shows like ‘Geet-Hui Sabse Parai’, ‘Punarvivah’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, ‘Nach Baliye 6’, ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (Season 5)’. Gurmeet’s first film in Bollywood came in 2015. He was selected for the role of Jaidev in “Khamoshiyan”.
