GOAT Box Office Collection Day 8: Thalapathy Vijay’s action thriller ‘Goat’ or ‘Greatest of All Time’ hit the theatres on 5 September. As expected, the film is getting a good response from the audience and is also earning a lot. Although its earnings declined in the weekdays after the opening weekend, it made a good collection in a week of its release. Let’s know here how much ‘Goat’ has earned on the 8th day of its release?
How much did ‘Goat’ collect on the 8th day?
‘Goat’ is being said to be the last film of Thalapathy Vijay after the start of his political career, due to which this film had created a lot of buzz even before its release. It had a bumper pre-ticket sale and then after hitting the theatres, it made a strong start. Since then, ‘Goat’ has been making a splash at the box office and earning crores every day. The reason for this is also that Thalapathy Vijay’s double role, amazing action sequences and the brilliant performance of the star cast in the film have impressed the audience a lot, due to which a lot of audience is flocking to the theatres to watch the film.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Goat’ collected 44 crores on the first day, 25.5 crores on the second day, 33.5 crores on the third day, 34 crores on the fourth day, 14.75 crores on the fifth day, 11 crores on the sixth day and 8.5 crores on the seventh day. Now the initial figures of ‘Goat’s’ earnings on the eighth day have come.
- According to the early trend report of Saccanilk, ‘Goat’ has collected Rs 6.50 crore on the eighth day of its release.
- With this, the total earnings of ‘Goat’ in eight days have now become Rs 177.75 crore.
It will cross 200 crores by the second weekend ,out,
‘Goat’s earnings have seen a huge drop on the eighth day and it has made the lowest collection ever on its second Thursday. However, the makers are hopeful that ‘Goat’s earnings will rise in the second weekend and it will cross 200 crores. For now, it remains to be seen how the film performs in the second weekend.
Talking about the star cast of ‘Goat’, apart from Vijay Thalapathi, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Sneha, Jayaram, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ajmal Ameer have played important roles in the film. Trisha and Shivakarthikeya have done cameo in the film.
