Govinda Missfire Case: Bollywood actor Govinda today accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own hand. While cleaning the pistol, his hand fired, after which he was immediately taken to the hospital. There he was admitted to the ICU where he got 8-10 stitches in his leg. Now Mumbai Police is investigating this matter in depth and has said that Govinda will not be given a clean chit until the investigation is completed.
Mumbai Police has made many revelations in its investigation so far. According to police investigation, the revolver from which Govinda fired was loaded with 6 bullets, out of which one bullet misfired and hit the actor’s leg. The police also matched the revolver and the license number and the license is also valid.
The revolver’s lock was broken
Govinda’s revolver was of 0.32 bore but was quite old. Sources said that Govinda wanted to buy a new revolver but before that an accident happened. A small part of the revolver’s lock was also broken. Govinda was to go to Kolkata today morning by 5.45 am flight. For which he was going to get ready and leave the house at 4:30. Govinda told that at the time of the incident, a body guard provided by the Protection Branch of Mumbai Police was present at home with Govinda.
How did the accident happen?
Before leaving the house at 4.30 in the morning, Govinda was trying to keep his revolver in a suitcase in the cupboard when the revolver fell down and misfired. The police bodyguard took Govinda to the hospital in an injured condition and informed the police control about the incident.
