Recently, the Ambani family, the owner of the Mumbai Indians franchise, purchased a 49 percent stake of ‘The Oval Invinesals’ for about Rs 645 crore. Now many people including Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella have bought a 49 percent stake of the London Spirit Team by forming a union.
Apart from Sundar Pichai, CEO of Microsoft, Google CEO, CAEO of Times Internet, Adobe and Silver Technology has bought a 49 percent stake in the London Spirit Team. The remaining 51 percent stake is owned by ECB. Apart from these five people in this union, Shantanu Narayan, Egon Durban, Nikesh Arora and Satyan Ghazwani are also included. These people had earlier attained the co-owner of the Seattle Orkas team in Major League Cricket (MLC). Talking about The Hundred League, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had offered to sell 49 percent stake of teams. Right now the auction process is going on and ECB hopes that all teams will be sold in the coming days.

The team that the CEO of five big companies formed together was seen in the IPL with a tremendous bidding war with the owner of the Lucknow Super Giants team, Sanjeev Goenka. The highest bid on the London Spirit was 295 million pounds, which is equivalent to about Rs 3,170 crore in Indian currency. Since the team of big CEOs has bought 49 percent stake, they will have to pay a price of about Rs 1,553 crore.
