GOAT Box Office Collection Day 1: Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Goat’ (Greatest of All Time) has been released in theatres. The film has hit the screens today and has become a hit as soon as it was released. Advance booking of ‘Goat’ had started even before its release in which the film made a lot of money. Now the film has hit the screens and it is being said that ‘Goat’ can prove to be the biggest Tamil opener of the year.
According to the figures of SaccNilk, ‘Goat’ had earned Rs 29.83 crores for the first day’s advance booking. Now after the release of the film, the initial figures of its opening day collection have come out. ‘Goat’ has so far collected Rs 18.2 crores at the domestic box office. With this, the film has defeated Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’.

Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ is the highest opening Tamil film of this year. ‘Indian 2’ opened its account with a collection of Rs 11.2 crore at the domestic box office. Now Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Goat’ has crossed this figure.

Thalapathy Vijay starrer film ‘Goat’ is directed by Venkat Prabhu under the banner of AGS Entertainment. Vijay has appeared in a double role in the film. Apart from this, Vijay Chandrashekhar, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Yogi Babu have also been seen playing important roles in the film.
