This actor who said goodbye to Bollywood at the age of 27 is none other than Girish Kumar Taurani. Girish started his acting career with the 2013 romantic film Ramaiya Vastavaiya opposite Shruti Haasan.
Ramaiya Vastavaiya, made for approximately Rs 40 crore, could not earn even Rs 25 crore in India and was declared a flop at the box office.
After three years, Girish’s second film Loveshuda was released. This film starring Navneet Kaur Dhillon and Naveen Kasturia also failed at the box office.
A few days before the release of Luvshuda on 19 February 2016, Girish got married to his long-time girlfriend Krishna on 11 February. However, the actor had kept his marriage a secret for almost a year and revealed it in February 2017. Girish had said regarding this that he did not want his career to be affected in any way due to his marriage.
After leaving acting, Girish Kumar Taurani started working with his father Kumar Taurani and his uncle Ramesh Taurani, who owned Tips Industries.
He works as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a Rs 4700 crore film production, distribution and music company.
At present there is no update regarding Girish making a comeback in acting.
