Now the news that has come out is shocking, in which it was told that there has been a change in the head coach of Team India for the next tour of South Africa.
After the end of the Test series against New Zealand, Team India will tour South Africa for a four-match T20 series. On this tour, not Gautam Gambhir but former veteran batsman of Team India VVS Laxman will be seen as the head coach of Team India.
In a report published on the website of Cricjab, it was told that VVS Laxman will be seen as the head coach of Team India on the South Africa tour. It was further told in the report that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Gambhir will leave with Team India for the Test series to be played in Australia. It was told in the report that the top BCCI official confirmed that Lakshn will be the coach on the South Africa tour.
It was reported in the report that the four-match T20 series to be played between India and South Africa was not scheduled in advance. Recently this was arranged by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Cricket South Africa. The T20 series between India and South Africa will start from 08 November, while the last match of the series will be played on 15 November. Team India will leave for South Africa by around 4th November for the series.
On the other hand, Team India can leave for Australia on 10th or 11th November for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting from 22nd November. In such a situation, it would not have been possible for chief head coach Gautam Gambhir to stay with Team India in both the series.
Let us tell you that along with VVS Laxman, the rest of the coating staff working in the National Cricket Academy will also go on the South Africa tour, which may include Sairaj Bahutule, Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Subhdeep Ghosh.
